We are seeking a highly motivated, very thorough and knowledgeable showroom administrator who would be interested in fast-tracking to the position of Showroom Assistant Manager. The environment is fast-paced and has potential for a lot of career growth. If you are the right candidate, you may shift from a showroom administrator to the Assistant Manager after 120 days from hire date.
Job Description
Beginning as a showroom administrator, you will play a crucial role assisting customers as you guide them through our products and services. Often you will be interacting with designers, builders, contractors, and homeowners ensuring they have a seamless shopping and ordering experience.
Responsibilities
Customer Assistance - With a professional manner and with accuracy, greet customers in-person, over the phone and via email assisting them with selecting products and services for their project, sharing product information, pricing and availability.
Expertise and Teamwork
Thoroughly interpret material lists provided by customers to provide an accurate product and lumber selection.
Recommend alternatives or enhancements based on project requirements based on project requirements and budgeting.
Accurately process orders and provide excellent follow through.
Collaborate with all team members regarding fabrication.
Work with the manager to achieve targets and objectives.
Ability to listen, learn, apply procedures, maintain a high level of accuracy and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent and professional written and verbal skills
Qualifications
Retail experience, preferably with interest in interior design, construction, lumber and/or fabrication. Training and mentoring provided.
Experience using the following platforms:
QuickBooks Online
Shopify and Point of Sale (training provided)
G-Suite products, including Calendars
Microsoft Suite products, particularly Excel, some PowerPoint experience.
UPS and FedEx shipping platforms a plus
