Description About the OrganizationRobert Half's client, a well-established nonprofit organization dedicated to serving diverse communities, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Case Specialist who is fluent in Ukrainian and English. The organization provides essential support services to individuals and families, fostering empowerment and resilience within underserved communities.Position SummaryThe Case Specialist will serve as a vital link between the organization and its Ukrainian-speaking clients. This role is responsible for assessing client needs, connecting them with appropriate resources, and ensuring ongoing support to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for helping others.Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Advocacy:

Provide case management services to Ukrainian-speaking clients, including intake assessments, goal setting, and progress tracking.

Advocate for clients to ensure they have access to necessary resources and support systems.

Resource Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to connect clients with housing, healthcare, employment, education, and other essential services.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of available community resources and programs.

Documentation & Reporting:

Accurately document client interactions, progress, and outcomes in the organization’s case management system.

Prepare reports and updates as needed for internal and external stakeholders.

Cultural Competence:

Utilize fluency in Ukrainian to provide clear and empathetic communication to clients.

Educate clients about their rights, responsibilities, and available services in a culturally appropriate manner.

Outreach & Education:

Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about the organization’s programs.

Conduct workshops or informational sessions tailored to the Ukrainian-speaking community.

Requirements

Qualifications

Language Skills:

Fluency in Ukrainian and English (spoken and written) is required.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).

2+ years of experience in case management, client advocacy, or a similar role, ideally in a nonprofit setting.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Cultural sensitivity and understanding of issues facing the Ukrainian community.
