This position will work 64 hours/pay period (0.8 FTE) and will support night shift.The Rady Children's Emergency Department is a Lantern-awarded, Level I Trauma Center with 42 beds, including two trauma rooms. We are the only pediatric emergency department within the San Diego region and operate 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Resolve patient problems and needs by applying multidisciplinary team strategies.
Select and coordinate the appropriate care, taking into consideration the age, developmental level and size of the patient.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration, storage procedures and controlled substance regulations.
Identify own limitations and seek resources as needed.
Maintain a collaborative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
