Description We are in need of an Office Assistant based in San Francisco, California. This job function involves a variety of administrative tasks in a workplace setting. The role requires proficiency in Office Administration, Customer Service, and Event Coordination. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Coordinate office setup and meetings, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace environment Act as the first point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming presence and professional customer service Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of necessary resources Organize lunches for meetings, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences Greet and assist guests, ensuring their needs are met and queries are answered promptly Maintain accurate records of all office activities and interactions Monitor office supplies, placing orders when necessary to ensure a well-stocked and organized office Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for both employees and guests Assist in event coordination, ensuring all logistical details are addressed and events run smoothly. Requirements Proficiency in Office Administration tasks such as filing, organizing, and managing office inventory Excellent Customer Service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients in-person and over the phone Experience in Event Coordination, including planning, organizing, and executing company events Proficient in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced office environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team High attention to detail and accuracy in all work Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
