ABOUT THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Director of Public Works or their designee, the Management Analyst I performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of Public Works. The Management Analyst I plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of the Public Works department.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for public service and a strong desire to contribute to the enhancement of our community through effective management and administration of public works programs. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our asset management and tracking systems, meticulously recording maintenance activities and inventory, and assisting in the development and execution of public communication strategies. Your ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and the public will be instrumental in fostering community awareness and support for Public Works projects and initiatives.

Currently both plan options (Kaiser or Western Health Advantage) have premiums covered by the City so there is no out-of-pocket cost to the employee paid toward the monthly premium.
Dental Insurance – The City pays full cost of Delta Dental PPO.
Leave – the City offers generous leave, including:
Vacation – 2 to 5 weeks depending on service time
Sick – 12 days per year
Holidays – 15 total (11 named plus 4 floating) per year
Retirement – CalpePERS (PEPRA) 2% at 62 / CalPERS (Classics) 2% at 55
457 Deferred Compensation Plan (with up to $600 in matching by the city)
Other – the City pays the premiums for a $50,000 life insurance plan, as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Other benefits include free/discounted use of City recreational facilities and programs.
