I am a bed bound person with a spinal cord injury, looking for a live in caregiver to Occupy second bedroom .Care Provider will be paid up to 12 hours per day at $20+ per hr
any additional services rendered Will be compensated through having free room and board as well as zero Payment for utilities For one individual per month.
Tasks needed:
Must fill out a provider employment package For IHSS ( IN HOME SUPPORT SERVICES ) and Must submit and pass live scan fingerprinting . Provider will not be paid until the application process and fingerprinting is complete which can take from one week to 90 days. Some support can be offered while provider prospect works while Waiting until the enrollment process is complete . The provider will be allowed back pay from IHHS Retroactively up to the start date of employment.

The provider will be required to :
perform paramedical Procedures such as bladder and bowel care.
Assisting with personal care Including grooming occasional Hair braiding if you know how to braid . (It is not absolutely necessary) Daily hygiene ( oral care, bathing), transfer to and from wheelchair, cooking and cleaning.
The work schedule is slightly negotiable Especially Breaktimes, as there may be times where no help is needed or times where care Is needed over night-for example, I might need help with repositioningwhile in bed which should not take much time.
