Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the retail clothes and accessories industry, based in Vista, California. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, from processing daily deposits and checks to reconciling accounts and implementing an ERP system. This role provides a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Process and reconcile daily deposits and checks Maintain and update accounting records Prepare bank deposits as part of daily operations Perform account reconciliation tasks using tools such as NetSuite and Excel Assist in the implementation of an ERP system Ensure accuracy of Accounts Payable by matching invoices Assist in cleaning up accounting records for the month of September Aid in the preparation of General Ledger and Journal Entries Support the Accounting Manager in various tasks and projects as needed Contribute to various accounting functions as required. Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation is required. Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable effectively. Experience in billing and invoice processing is essential. Must be skilled in data entry and maintaining accurate records. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for managing and analyzing data. Familiarity with Oracle for database management and reporting is required. Prior experience in a retail setting, specifically in clothes and accessories sector, is desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations.
