Works closely directly with Americas Trade Marketing Director to set shopper marketing priorities and strategies for the Americas market.

Responsible for representing Americas omni-channel marketing perspective in global forums.

Exhibits expert knowledge of Americas retail landscape, key retailers and channels, and current shopper behaviors in assigned work and marketing forums.

Exhibits expert knowledge of the entire shopper journey and path to purchase, and how to best optimize.

Sets direction for cross-functional marketing partners on shopper priorities, go-to-market approach, and collaboration process for assigned campaigns.

Builds, develops and maintains professional and collaborative relationships across a network of colleagues and partners, including global and regional marketers, Americas regional marketing, local trade and eCommerce teams, and agencies.

Presents and informs shopper marketing initiatives, findings, and best practices to marketing colleagues in forums in a timely manner.

Recommends budget allocation decisions.

Informally leads Americas Trade Marketing Manager(s) to ensure development and deployment of shopper campaigns.

Retail & Shopper Marketing Campaign Design (40%)

Accountable for representing omni-channel marketing needs and perspectives to global marketing teams and influencing upstream strategy, development and go-to-market alignment of priority or large-scale campaigns, playbooks, toolbox assets.

Accountable for sharing relevant regional insights, best practices, and program summaries with global marketing partners to improve global deliverables.

Consistently uses insights and information to identify commercially-sound shopper marketing opportunities and define incremental Americas shopper activations and campaigns.

Works across informal network of regional trade marketers to understand, leverage and share retail and shopper marketing work, knowledge and results.

Stays current on changes in shopper behaviors, retail trends, top retailer marketing capabilities and shopping innovations, and infuses them into in shopper marketing briefs.

Retail & Shopper Marketing Campaign Development (20%)

Creates shopper marketing plans that deliver successful, omni-channel shopper experiences driving achievement for the Americas.

Seeks out, digests, and translates insights into marketing programs that drive value to local trade teams, retailers, and shoppers.

Identifies gaps between globally developed franchise toolboxes and regional needs, and where required, develops tools andshopper end-to-endcampaigns to bridge the gaps to drive demand and increase efficiency across the Americas, working collaboratively with Americas marketing colleagues, partners, and designated shopper creative agency.

Accountable for gathering input from, and deployment of shopper campaigns, to trade and Americas eCommerce marketers. Understands and address executional difficulties.

Play your part in our team succeedingThis team enables, develops, and delivers impactful omni-channel shopper marketing campaigns, experiences, and activations that drive consideration and conversion to support global and regional objectives and build value for 3rd Party retailers (B2B.) We shape the global shopper marketing agenda and translate for the Americas. We sit at the cross-roads between global and local teams.This person is responsible for ensuring the US, Canada and Latin American markets have the retail and shopper marketing campaigns and activations vital to meet global, regional, and local marketing and commercial objectives. The role will drive a strong process from insights, global campaign development, to regional deployment keeping partners advised throughout.The Senior Trade Marketing role also plays a part in shopper activation and marketing leadership, integrating with cross-functional marketing and customer teams to drive integrated marketing programs and activations at the regional level.Do you have what it takes?

A minimum of 7 years’ experience within a trade/shopper/retail marketing or ecommerce role with a proven track record of success ideally in high impact consumer goods company.

Shopper-centric orientation with proven track-record of acting and developing on shopper insights.

Strong experience targeting shoppers and driving conversion within retailer ecommerce platforms.

Exhibits understanding of the shopper journey and path to purchase, and how to best optimize.

A self-starter, naturally curious, results-oriented and who can think creatively.

A strong collaborator, teammate and communicator across fields and hierarchies to effectively steer a wide range of internal and external partners in a highly matrixed organization.

A critical thinker with the ability to connect the dots from different forums, bring a thoughtful point of view, and develop exciting plans according to given strategies and objectives

Bachelor’s degree in a marketing-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
