Office Furniture Distribution Center looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to handle our commercial furniture dealer accounts. This person will be responsible for data entry and to act as the primary contact for all customer concerns. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and multitasking abilities, a positive can-do attitude, and a strong work ethic. This is a full-time position with salary based on experience. 2 Shifts Available (in person - must have reliable transportation)
8:30am-5pm Monday - Friday OR
9am-5:30pm Monday - Friday
Responsibilities & Duties:
Must have Data Entry Experience: Knowledge & experience in processing sales orders received by email or fax with accuracy and efficiency through computer system (knowledge of D365 is a major +)
Use problem solving skills to help customers with complaints, questions, & problems
Answer phone calls from customers checking on their orders (status of the order, backorders, tracking information, product questions, etc)
Perform general administrative duties as needed such as filing, collating mailing, etc. as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience in customer service, at least 2 years’ experience in an office environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Exceptional customer service, communication skills and organization skills
Professional phone etiquette
Ability to pay close attention to details and strong time management skills
A positive, friendly, upbeat and personable demeanor
Ability to learn quickly, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure in a small team setting
Effective written and verbal communication skills in order to follow up on pending issues and to effectively solve problems
Understanding of basic warehouse workflows is a plus
