Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Configuration Analyst – SAP Production Planning in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves working within the manufacturing industry, specifically with SAP Production Planning and Quality Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and configuring business transactions, providing support towards application releases, and maintaining close working relationships with IT teams.Key responsibilities: Design and configure business transactions in applications including SAP Production Planning, S/4HANA, and Quality Management. Analyze, design, and test enhancements to new and existing custom applications. Engage with business users to communicate capability and build a backlog of opportunities. Resolve production problems quickly and effectively. Design system specifications and interfaces for interacting components. Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Support the deployment of application releases into production. Create operational documentation and meet service commitments for assigned deliverables. Develop apps to functional and technical standards. Maintain close working relationships with other IT teams and Service Providers. Requirements Proficient in SAP Production Planning as well as Configuration Management. Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required. Demonstrated skills in using Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to generate and maintain accurate documentation. Should have experience in quality control and production. Expertise in workstation support and Windows OS is crucial. Should be able to resolve issues effectively and make competent component selections. Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team are necessary. Must have a background in Computer Sciences. Experience in Linux environments and deployments is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deliver on time are expected. Knowledge of software 'About Time' is preferred. Must have a good understanding of Financial Notes.
