Position Summary

The Clinic Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of activities contributing to the assessment, implementation and delivery of patient care in the specialty clinic/program in accordance with physician instructions, MHS policies, and approved patient care standards and regulations. This position is responsible for both administrative and direct patient care services. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, coordinate consultations, and provide training and education as applicable. Administrative and staffing decisions are made within established MHS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing bases

You will engage your critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data

You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols

Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement

Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)

Current BLS Certification required

Certification in relevant clinical specialty desirable

Two (2) years general duty RN experience required

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.
