Our construction and remediation company with approximately 150 employees is looking for a great Human Resources Manager to work in our new Encino office. Ideal candidate will come with 7+ years’ experience managing all HR functions within a mid-size company. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and proactive mindset.
Responsibilities include:
Recruitment and onboarding
Employee relations
Managing electronic employee records and profiles
Compliance and certification management
Employee engagement
Managing other day to day administrative HR functions
Managing Onboarding/Offboarding and Disciplinary Action
Administering employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
Partner with leaders to support and provide guidance and direction on all company initiatives and values
Performance management
Constant communication with owners on all people operation ongoings
Other assigned duties, occasionally non-HR specific tasks
Minimum requirements:
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Process and detail oriented
Time management and a good sense of urgency
Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws
Knowledge of Office 365 Suite
Knowledge of Bamboo HR preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with excellent judgement and discretion
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Salary $85,000 + benefits.
