Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in program management.

Experience managing technical data science and software engineering-based cross-functional projects.

Experience with production-level API integrations, data analytics pipelines, advanced SQL queries, and developing, managing, and communicating project roadmaps.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Experience with developing and shipping new software products.

Experience working with compute infrastructure.

Experience working with carbon emissions data.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The team works cross-functionally across our global operations and hardware supply chains to develop and scale new solutions on energy and carbon. It also leads efforts to create the external market environments necessary to drive decarbonization in a way that facilitates these goals and enables others to do so as well.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Serve as the program lead for carbon-aware computing infrastructure’s temporal and spatial load shifting capabilities.

Track and communicate progress towards carbon reduction and cost saving goals.

Work with the data science and software engineering teams to scope and develop new capabilities.

Track carbon-aware load shifting feature requests and generate prioritized roadmap.

Ensure coordination with other relevant cross-functional compute and data infrastructure project roadmaps.
