Description Robert Half, a leading staffing and consulting firm, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Contract Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the vibrant city of San Diego, California. As a Contract Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and efficient management of outstanding invoices.Responsibilities:
Process and record customer payments to accounts receivable.
Assist in generating and sending customer invoices with attention to accuracy.
Support in following up on overdue payments and contributing to collections efforts.
Assist in reconciling discrepancies between invoices and customer records.
Maintain organized and up-to-date customer accounts and contact information.
Collaborate with internal teams to address billing and payment inquiries.
Assist in preparing aging reports to assess the status of outstanding accounts.
Provide courteous customer service in responding to inquiries related to accounts receivable.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience in a clerical role or exposure to accounts receivable tasks is a plus.
Basic knowledge of accounts receivable processes and principles.
Familiarity with using basic accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
