Location: Rockridge, Oakland
Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; flexibility needed to work later (with advance notice) 1 or 2 night per month when parents are working late
Children: 8 months old and 3 years old (care is primarily for the baby)
Duties: Childcare, cooking for children, driving children, light housekeeping, children's laundry, errands
Requirements: Ideal candidate has a passion for all children, especially babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, is very caring, has a warm personality, and is proactive and organized. Must be excited to teach children new things as well as be motivated to research and find places to visit such as story time, music classes, etc. Driver with access to a car for use on the job required. Enjoys walking and being outside to explore the neighborhood and local parks with the children.Must be comfortable with parents working from home, familiar with Rockridge, NorthOakland and Berkeley, and have or be willing to obtain vaccinations including COVID, annual flu shots, Tdap and MMR
Salary: $1,662 to $1,805 per week; plus guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, two weeks paid vacation (family will give advanced notice of when they will be out of town so candidate can plan their vacation, five paid sick days and seven paid holidays

Requirements:
Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long term teaching experience with children in addition to recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
A genuine interest in working with children!
Ability to drive and a valid Calif. driver license
Able to work legally in the United States
Able to make at least a one-year commitment, ideally longer
