You will enhance the retail experience at the brewery gift shop, our employee store, and our e-Commerce shop sites through creative sourcing and buying of merchandise, building strong relationships with vendors and brand teams, and the application of effective retail strategies to achieve profit targets.This position reports to Guest Relations eCommerce Supervisor and works closely with our Retail Supervisor, Inventory Coordinators, other buying coordinator and various team members at our eCommerce sites and gift shop.The Responsibilities (Buying Coordinator):

Source and order merchandise for the brewery shop, employee store, various off-site events, as well as for various internal/external customers as needed.

Develop strong vendor relationships to procure quality merchandise at optimal pricing. Negotiate pricing and minimums.

Implement pricing strategies.

Follow up on discrepancies with pricing, quality concerns and logo execution.

Drive ordering process from logo approval, item creation, delivery and collaborate with Inventory Coordinator and eCommerce team on quality control, inventory levels and reorders.

Assist in coordination of off-site retail special events, creative merchandise ordering and exemplary customer service/sales strategies.

Collaborate with brand teams and other Buying Coordinator to meet strategic brand initiatives.

Build merchandise communication cadence with individual brand team leads and develop yearly brand act and merchandise ordering calendar.

Collaborate with other Buying Coordinator to support cross-functional retail programs.

Support eCommerce Supervisor on all retail metrics including sales and profitability.

Support retail site both on/off site when needed.

The Other Qualifications:

You have a high school diploma or GED.

You have 2-3 years retail and buying/purchasing experience of large medium-large sales volume locations, working knowledge of POS applications, and a good sense of product/brand trends.

You are able to lift 40 lbs.

You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
