Seeking Flexible Part-Time Family Assistant / Driver for Bustling Household In Piedmont/Oakland
We are looking for a reliable part-time Family Assistant for a busy household in Piedmont.
The family assistant will provide transportation/carpool for the kids (ages 5-11) from school to after-school activities in the local area 3-5 days per week, errand running, and light support for our full-time Personal Assistant. Mileage is paid for.
This is an entry-level position. Over-qualified candidates with extensive years of PA/EA work or a Master's Degree need not apply as it won’t be the right fit.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Afternoon transport/carpool for kids for school and afterschool activities.
Errand running for household.
Light support for the full-time Personal Assistant and Housekeeper with household tasks and projects.
Additional Requirements:
Candidate must have a reliable, safe car, a valid CA driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance. Background check required.
Must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in person at their homes in Piedmont and occasionally Stinson Beach.
Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
Flexible and able to pivot when needed.
French speaking is a major plus but not required.
This position is ideal for a student or someone with a flexible schedule. General hours are about 10-15 hours a week between 1-8 PM, with occasional weekend work. The exact days/hours will be discussed, but flexibility is a must. We are offering guaranteed hours per week due to the nature of the position. Pay is commensurate with market rate, generally between $25-$40/hr, depending on experience.
