The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child and Family Services Division. This position functions as the administrative support supervisor for the regional office and all county offices within the region. This position manages regional support operations including office/telephone coverage, purchasing, expenses, case filing system, and monitoring and maintaining office supplies and equipment, regional vehicles, cell phones and office space needs. Responsibilities include ensuring fiscal documentation and database entries in the Child Adult Protective Services (CAPS) and Purchasing, Entry, Receiving, Query (PERQS) systems are accurate, complete and timely and providing CAPS expertise and support to field staff and the regional administrator. This position acts as an executive assistant to the regional manager and supervises eight administrative support personnel throughout the region. The Administrative Support II - Fire Administration is responsible for assisting the fire department or function manager or function staff with the administrative work of the fire department or function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers and screens calls or greets walk-in visitors.
- Assists the public with administrative requests for information.
- Provides counter service for the department and takes escalated questions.
- Serves as department security by controlling access to department work areas.
- Orders department office supplies.
- Receives supplies, matches invoices to purchase orders, enters appropriate codes and forwards for payment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) or more years of combined education and experience, or equivalent.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to operate personal computer and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with city government and knowledge of department or function operations.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $21.4623 - $28.7927 per hour. Salary reflects Step 1 and Step 7 of a 7-step pay scale. Salary at hiring will be dependent upon the applicant\'s education, training, and experience.

Volunteers of America is seeking a Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Intake Coordinator to assist low-income Veteran families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis and homelessness.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct outreach activities in respective communities to identify Veterans who qualify for the SSVF program.
- Conduct a formal assessment of Veterans to establish program eligibility.
- Perform intake/enrollment workflow for eligible Veterans in the case management software system.
- Maintain case management data in the Homeless Management Information System, case management and other data systems as needed.
- Ensure ongoing education of programmatic changes through online SSVF training and SSVF program guide updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate\'s Degree with a minimum of two years of case management experience or closely related experience; Or
- High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of case management experience or closely related field experience.
- Valid driver\'s license.
- Adept with computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite and data information management systems.
Preferred:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in human services, behavioral science, or related field.
- Minimum of one year of case management experience.
Hours:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:

The Facilities Maintenance Support II performs a combination of routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned facilities and grounds as well as maintenance duties related to building plant systems and other facility related maintenance. Duties include cleaning floors, walls, windows, sidewalks, restrooms, work areas, break areas and public access areas of public buildings. Duties include removal of waste materials, collection of recyclable materials, landscaping and snow removal. Duties may include being observant of potential safety and security problems. Additional duties include mechanical and plumbing repairs, carpentry as well as maintaining boilers and related duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine cleaning and sanitation duties.
- Uses vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, polishers, floor waxers as well as hand cleaning supplies to maintain facilities.
- Safely uses cleaning chemicals.
- Removes waste material to dumpsters and recycling to proper collection locations.
- Removes snow from sidewalk areas and ensures that ice conditions are treated with salt or sand.
- Performs landscape maintenance.
- Performs daily boiler checks, blowdowns, controls checks, and chemical treatment operation.
- Performs weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and annual duties related to the maintenance and operation of building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Performs a regular cleaning and janitorial materials inventory and maintains MSDS books in all appropriate locations.
- May order department supplies in order to maintain a working inventory.
- Receives janitorial supplies and stores them in designated areas.
- Observes people or conditions that may present a threat to safety and security and reports them to the proper authorities.
- Observes burnt out lights and either repairs them or reports them to maintenance staff for correction.
- Observes unattended packages left in the facility and calls for assistance if there is a possibility of a hazard.
- Monitors HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as directed and provides maintenance support to facilities maintenance staff.
- Patches and paints walls in assigned areas and performs other carpentry duties as assigned.
- Electrical repairs such as switch and receptacle replacement, driver replacement.
- Office furniture assembly and assists others with moves.
- Repairs faucets and valves and performs other plumbing repairs.
- Cleans and/or replaces air filters and checks belts in HVAC equipment.
- Performs repair and maintenance duties on doors and door hardware.
- May provide routine responses to the public on basic questions such as directions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years facility maintenance and custodial experience, or equivalent.
- Must be able to answer basic questions from the public in a courteous manner.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a Federal fingerprint based criminal background check.
- Must have a valid Montana driver\'s license or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment.
- Must have a Low Pressure Boiler License or must be obtained within one hundred eighty (180) days of employment.
- Must have knowledge of basic computer skills to use systems related to HVAC.
- Must be able to utilize email and the Internet.
- Must be able to operate and repair and variety of hand tools, power tools, and medium sized equipment such as drills, saws, hammers, chainsaw, riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, and scissor lift.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Salary: $21.3172 - $25.8914 per hour. Salary reflects Step 2 and Step 6 of a 7-step pay scale. Salary at hiring is dependent upon the applicant\'s training and experience.
