JOB SUMMARY The Lung Cancer Navigator will work as part of the cancer care team to help coordinate care in a timely fashion to improve patient outcomes. Navigator will help to coordinate and promote the lung cancer screening program. This will include entering clinical data into the national lung screening registry database. Navigator will monitor and track suspicious imaging findings on routine and screening studies and work with physician team to ensure appropriate and timely follow up studies and treatment are received. Navigator will work with physician outreach team to promote screening criteria to referring physicians and to patients in the community through speaking engagements and other public education opportunities.0 The navigator will assist with providing smoking cessation education to lung screening physicians. The lung cancer navigator will work closely with the entire cancer navigation team to ensure psychosocial needs are addressed and will assist with referrals to support services if needed.
