Electrician Needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics as acquired through official completion of high school or its equivalent. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as acquired through completion of an approved Vo-Tech program and certified as a Nurse Aide through the Office of Long Term Care or after completion of a minimum of one semester of an RN/LPN program with a nursing skills checklist completed by their nursing instructor. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an approved program to utilize the RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist. A year of PCT experience within the acute care setting will be considered in lieu of formal training. Experience Knowledge of patient care technician practices and related patient care activities and hospital policies and procedures as acquired through on-the-job training. Knowledge of basic non-technical skills as acquired through on-the-job training. Physical Normal hospital environment. Continuous exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant fumes and odors. Close eye work. Hearing within normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching. This is a safety sensitive position. Under the direct supervision of the Patient Care Manager or designee, responsible for assigned areas on 1 shift. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by facility.

FREQUENT STANDING, WALKING, BENDING, LIFTING UP TO OR EXCEEDING 75 POUNDS. CARRYING UP TO 40 POUNDS.PUSHING/PULLING UP TO OR EXCEEDING 300 POUNDS. JOB SUMMARY LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THERAPEUTIC CARE OF END STAGE RENAL DISEASE PATIENTS. WORKS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION OF REGISTERED NURSE. RESPONSIBLE FOR INITIATING, MONITORING, TERMINATING, AND ADJUSTING ALL HEMODIALYSIS TREATMENTS ASSIGNED TO. MUST CONDUCT HIMSELF/HERSELF IN PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND DRESS APPROPRIATELY. WORKS IN THE OUTPATIENT UNIT AS WELL AS THE INPATIENT UNIT AS NEEDED.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an approved program to utilize the RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist. PCT experience within the last year will be considered in lieu of formal training. Note: High school vo-tech program requires student skills checklist to be completed by instructor.
