Responsibilities The incumbent serves as an Air Traffic Manager (ATM) in an ATC-5 level tower facility and is responsible for planning and directing all activities at the facility. Directs a highly technical work force, including functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel that provide air traffic control services throughout a geographic area. The work impacts the safe, orderly, and expeditious movement of aircraft as well as segments of the aviation industry.
