Mosaic is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) FLOAT POOL to join our team! In this role, you will assist people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in achieving their best possible health. This may include advocacy with healthcare providers, administering medications and/or injections, observing and monitoring each persons health status and communication with support team on any changes. What YOU’LL will do: Provide nursing support and consultation with the state\'s Nurse Practice Act and physician orders. Ensure individuals receive routine and preventative health services and medication administration is completed accurately according to regulations. Provide health related education to those served and those who serve in the agency. Maintain and review electronic healthcare records to monitor pertinent health status, provide accurate and through documentation and update agency leaders as needed Build effective relationships with colleagues, persons served and their providers and families/guardians. SCHEDULE: 8 or 12 hour shifts, can work up to 24 hours a week - required to work at least 24 hours a quarter, NO HOLIDAY or NO WEEKEND hours requirements, NO ON CALL, travel up to 2 hours outside of Omaha.
