Position Summary Under the direct supervision of an RN or his/her designee, the Patient Care Technician will assist the RN and MD in providing direct care to patients according to age specific needs. Patient types include: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, older adult Accurately measures and records vital signs, including postural vital signs, reports changes to the RN as soon as discovered. Assists patients with ADL\'s including bathing, back care, hair washing and documents accordingly. Performs and documents Blood Glucose. Reports all findings to RN High school graduate or equivalent Experience: Certified Nurses Aid certificate, Nursing Student, EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or EMT -P (Paramedic) with clinical experience required.
