JOB SUMMARY The Chaplain assesses, plans, coordinates and provides care and counseling according to the spiritual and religious needs of patients, family members and friends, Hospital staff and volunteers. The Chaplain shall be available for consultations, support and education of patients/families/staff/volunteers. The Chaplain shall provide 24-hour emergency care, personally or by utilizing staff and volunteer clergy. Education: Master Degree from accredited institution in a related field. Master of Divinity or a Master of Theology from a recognized seminary, divinity school or college of theology preferred. Experience:One year experience as a chaplain in a recognized setting. A minimum of three years of pastoral care experience as a Chaplain is preferred, of which two years should be in a hospital setting. Licensure, Certification, Registration:Four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education required.
