About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, Fort Riley KS. This is a Planned Management Action open to Current Civilian Employees with competitive status of the Organization. Consideration will also be given to current Army employees with competitive status. Responsibilities Administer and oversee property accountability, General Services Administration (GSA) vehicle accountability, Pre-Deployment Training Equipment (PDTE) equipment accountability, and the Command Supply Discipline Program. Serve as the Installation (Consolidated) Property Book Officer (IPBO) responsible for analyzing program requirements and formulating local operating procedures to adequately operate the designated Installation property book. Schedule and direct physical inventories of all non-expendable property on the property book, to include initial receipt, transfer between hand receipt holders and Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL). Locate and acquire standard and nonstandard equipment and supplies through military and non-military supply sources to meet unit readiness and operational requirements. Develop, execute, monitor, and provide input to the annual supply budget. Develop supply policies and procedures that reflect Department of the Army regulatory and policy requirements for equipment procurement, authorization, utilization, and disposal .
