Summary This position is in the Bureau of Population, Refugee, and Migration, Office of the Executive Director (PRM/EX). This position provides bureau support of staffing and recruitment, position classification, performance management, human resources development, benefits management, employee relations, and labor relations. Responsibilities Analyzes and resolves broad, complex, controversial and high priority recruitment issues requiring extreme care in problem resolution. Finalizes the classification for jobs at the grade level to which he/she has been delegated authority and ensures they are maintained electronically. Conducts technical reviews to ensure performance plans, progress reviews, and summary ratings comply with policies and procedures. Gathers the facts surrounding the pay problem, researches pertinent guidelines, and discusses issues with Departmental payroll officials to verify that the existing pay is correct or take the necessary action to correct it.
