This position safely operates a production line for Hygiene products, according to standard operating procedures.Working as a team, Production Technicians areresponsible forefficient and quality production of Essity products.What You Will DoWork within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others tooOperates process & equipment efficiently.Is accountable for the performance of his/her equipment.Able to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control.Develops standards (CL, CIL, PM, OPL, WPS, etc.) through observation to gain deep understanding of the equipment.Troubleshoots stops in a structured way using the available tools: POS, BDE, etc.Understands the Operation and equipment, what it does/how it works & can carry out CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate)tasks and perform simple maintenance tasks.Lead changeoversOrder and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well with other persons involved in running the machine.Maintain optimal housekeeping.Secure the quality level of the products by regularly checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.Complete all required documentation and data files during production.Core Competencies:Drive for ResultsFunctional / Technical SkillsEthics, Values and IntegrityCustomer FocusEffective Team PlayerPhysical Demands:Standing: (Constant) Production must be able to stand to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, loading glue into tanks, maintaining ink in machine, loading boxes and bags for product, transporting materials utilizing carts, and performing cleaning duties.Walking: (Constant) Production must be able to walk to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, loading glue into tanks, maintaining ink in machine, loading boxes and bags for product, transporting materials utilizing carts, and performing cleaning duties.Lifting: (Frequent) Production must be able to load raw materials utilizing manipulator. Occasionally other raw materials such as poly, release paper, foam, and glue weighing up to 45 pounds are loaded from varying heights 12-56 inches to machine height at 56 inches.Carrying: (Frequent) Production must be able to complete front and or side carry of various raw materials including but not limited to poly, ink and release paper weighing up to 45 pounds distances up to 20 feet.Pushing/Pulling: (Frequent) Production must be able to generate push and pull forces of 50 pounds to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as initial force required to roll raw materials into position, roll carts and pallet jacks filled with various raw materials.Forward Bending: (Occasional) Production must be able to attain/maintain a forward flexed position of up to 60 degrees to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, loading glue into tanks, maintaining ink in machine, loading boxes and bags for product, transporting materials utilizing carts, and performing cleaning duties.Trunk Rotation: (Occasional) Production must be able to rotate their trunk/torso left-right to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, loading glue into tanks, maintaining ink in machine, loading boxes and bags for product, transporting materials utilizing carts, and performing cleaning duties.Reaching: (Frequent) Production must be able to forward reach to a height of up to 60 inches to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading on raw material on to machine, preventative maintenance, performing cleaning duties and troubleshooting machine.Manipulating/Handling/Gripping: (Constant) Production must be able to complete gripping, pinching and manipulation of various parts and pieces of equipment utilized for the performance of essential job functions such as handling raw materials, manipulator, and tools.Climbing: (Frequent) Production must be able to climb steps and ladders to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, performing cleaning duties and troubleshooting machine.Kneeling: (Occasional) Production must be able to kneel to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, performing cleaning duties and troubleshooting machine.Crouching: (Occasional) Production must be able to crouch to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, performing cleaning duties and troubleshooting machine.Crawling: (Occasional) Production must be able to crawl to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, performing cleaning duties and troubleshooting machine.Squatting: (Frequent) Production must be able to squat to complete various duties associated with essential job functions such as loading raw materials, performing cleaning duties and troubleshooting machine.Postural Balancing: (Constant) Production must be able to maintain both static and dynamic standing balance to completeEqual Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
