The contractor shall possess at minimum ten years of experience performing warranted or non-warranted 1102 series contracting specialist duties, be totally functional in the operation of Department of Defense (DOD) contracting specialist tools, including proficiency in the PD2 Contract Writing System, and hold certifications comparable to a DOD non-supervisory Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Level III. Contractor shall be familiar with working with aviation, various program management offices, and various types of fluids, i.e., Operations and Maintenance, Procurement, and Research and Development. Additionally, the contractor shall be well-versed with various contract types such as Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time & Material, and Commercial contracts. Contractor shall be capable of assisting with strategic requirements review and consolidation, acquisition strategy development, request for proposal development, and other pre-award duties. Contractor shall have a solid understanding of acquisition procedures involving best value, price performance tradeoff (PFF), lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA), and general schedule (GSA) source selections.

Summary This position is located in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program, Fleet Readiness Department in the Fitness/Sports and Deployed Support Department at MWR NWS Huntington Hall in Newport News, VA or CHEATHAM ANNEX in Williamsburg, VA. The purpose of this position is to serve as a Group Exercise Instructor demonstrating and leading safe and effective group exercise classes, applying the fundamental principles of exercise science, under the supervision of the assigned manager. Responsibilities Responsible for conducting one or more group exercise classes which includes but is not limited to lectures, exercise instruction and various athletic endeavors. Must promote good patron relationships and enhance the image of the respective program. The incumbent reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift in order to ascertain what special preparations are required. Ensures that necessary space, supplies and equipment are available and that room arrangements are completed prior to start of class. Provides instruction and guidance to all patrons. Exercises supervision over all operation of the class/activity.
