We are seeking an experienced Ignition Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) languages such as Python, Java, VB.Net, and C. Responsibilities include writing and debugging Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code in accordance with programmer work instructions or customer requirements. You will perform corrective maintenance, non-routine repair, modification, troubleshooting, calibration of PLC/HMI code, and system components. Additionally, you will commission industrial networks and establish stable communication between PLCs, network components, switches, and ancillary devices. Integration of ERP/MOMS/MES systems with HMI/SCADA systems and hands-on experience with industrial data collection/IIOT is essential. Configuring industrial network equipment for reliable and secure plant-wide communication, with a focus on software-defined networks (SDNs), is also a key part of this role.
