We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Mechanical Engineer to support our manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have professional experience, preferably in conveyor design, and proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.). The role involves investigating production problems related to parts and system design, conducting defect analysis, and recommending improvements. You will use schematics, drawings, and supporting documentation to evaluate parts and processes, develop domestic sources for parts, and issue Engineering Change Orders. Additionally, you will collect data for decision-making, review product designs for manufacturability, cost, and quality, and recommend design changes.
