GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Radiology Technologist Student has a variety of responsibilities, including patient care, clerical duties, and technical tasks. They will a ssist with imaging exams, patient check-in, transporting patients, scheduling exams, setting up imaging rooms, and stocking rooms. The student will explain exams to patients, observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort, maintain a clean and safe work environment. The student will work closely with the radiology team and may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging modalities. EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Must be enrolled as a 2nd year student in an accredited Radiologic Tech program. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Experience in a medical setting and customer service environment Knowledge of universal precautions and personal protective equipment

Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing resident care and assisting others in the management of resident care. EDUCATION and TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate Degree of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Mandatory Reporter Certification required. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One year prior professional nursing experience preferred. CPR certification required. Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others. Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement. Excellent team player and communication skills required.
