Barista Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Flexible Working Hours Tip Pooling Employee Discount Free gym membership Compensation: $16-$20 Barista Responsibilities: Take customer orders, prepare bagels, sandwiches, salads, etc. Step in to help in any of the service areas as needed Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable). Present food/drink options, make recommendations and answer questions regarding our products. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the cafe Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to General Manager. Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the General Manager or immediate supervisor. Barista Qualifications: Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests. Have working knowledge of cafe/restaurant operations. Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
