Requirements: - Minimum of 3 months of verifiable agricultural experience, preferably in a greenhouse or nursery setting. - Experience should include manual tasks related to the production of bedding plants (annuals and perennials). Responsibilities: - Plant, cultivate, and maintain nursery plants, including perennials, bedding plants, vegetable plants, and hanging baskets, ensuring they are ready for shipping and sale. - Pot seedlings and prepare plants for display. - Attach hangers to baskets and position them throughout seasonal holding houses. - Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, cutting, and weeding fields. - Carry out manual tasks including ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, and ground preparation. - Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel as part of job duties. - Proficient in using hand tools like hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. - Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies safely.
