What you will do: Grow in a fulfilling career as a Transportation Security Officer at the Dawson Community Airport (GDV) working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft. Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to: Passenger and baggage screening Operating various screening equipment. Communicating and interacting with travelers REQUIREMENTS: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. High School Diploma or equivalent Be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) Must possess customer service skills Pass a computerized assessment (grammar and ability to interpret X-rays) Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam) Pass pre-employment drug test Pass a TSA background and financial records check Ability to work any day, Monday - Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
Entry level position for a Television Board Operator/Switcher to work full-time hours on a temporary basis. Job could last up to 6 months. Requirements include: ability to alternate between day and night shifts; timing skills; good hand to eye coordination; and dependability. Employer will train. Duties include: monitor broadcast transmitters; maintain program and transmitter logs; switch commercials into network programming. $15.00 per hour to start.
