HVAC Technician/Apprentice - We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Perform routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating and cooling systems. Assemble and install ductwork, piping, and other necessary components. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layout and installation requirements. Execute pipe threading tasks as needed for various installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and plumbers to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems or related fields. Familiarity with construction plumbing practices is a plus. Experience as a maintenance person or in similar roles is desirable. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for effective installation and repairs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards of work quality. A valid driver\'s license may be required for travel between job sites.
