Position Description: Assists residents with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the RN or designee or Director of Nursing.# Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Completed State certified nursing assistant program. Has received certification as Nursing Assistant I, and is currently listed with the State of North Carolina#s Department of Facility Service#s Nursing Assistant Central Registry with no substantiated findings, or misappropriation of property. Must be able to work under the direction of# a licensed nurse and follow written and verbal instructions effectively. Certified in CPR.
This position is for all levels of EMTs and Paramedics and is#constantly posted to the GHS Website. Please submit your application if you meet the minimum qualifications. Valid North Carolina drivers license. Documentation of current ACLS, PALS, ITLS or PHTLS, BLS. Graduation from high school or equivalent. Must be 18#years or older. Must pass Worksteps physical assessment program on initial hire and maintain compliance annually.
