  • Summary The incumbent serves as an Executive Assistant to the Regional Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which includes four states, freely associated states of the Western Pacific, and the Trust Territories of the Pacific. The incumbent is the principal contact in the Office of the Regional Director and regularly interacts as the highest political and corporate levels, e.g., the White House, Congress, Tribes, Federal executives, State Directors, Governors, and major corporations. Maintains a complicated and changeable computerized calendar for the Regional Director/Deputy Regional Director; and provides copies to the Assistant Regional Directors, staff, and Region\'s project leaders, for meetings and travel plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Only experience and education obtained by 05/01/2024 will be considered. In order to qualify for this position you must possess the Minimum Qualification. This vacancy will utilize a multiple step assessment process to determine the qualifications of applicants. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
