MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent, Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred. EXPERIENCE: Eighty (80) hours of training in the proper procedure to be employed in the performance of venipuncture and skin punctures under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Completes annual education requirements. Maintains regulatory requirements. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time. Wears identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly.
