Job Summary The cardiology technician performs a variety of noninvasive and invasive cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures including performing EKG\'s, event monitoring application, pacemaker interrogation and, under the direction of a physician, perform stress testing procedures. Their responsibilities include taking vital signs and monitoring patient responses throughout diagnostic testing, rooming patients for visits, and reviewing their past medical history and medications. This position will also require occasional duties as a medical secretary when needed to support coverage which may include chart management, general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the department.
