Summary Store Workers serve in one or more commissary store departments (e.g., grocery, produce, warehouse, etc.) performing a variety of duties involved in receiving, handling, marking, preparing, displaying, and maintaining the stock of resale items. Responsibilities Serves as a Commissary Contractor Monitor in a commissary store at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) facility. The primary purpose of this position is conduct quality assurance inspections and contract surveillance duties of a specified commissary stocking, order-writing, custodial, receiving, holding, and/or other contracted services performed in a commissary. Position responsibilities include: Conduct quality assurance inspections and contractor surveillance. Provide comments and recommendations for additions, deletions, or changes to contractor services to ensure compliance with DeCA directives. Approve or reject contractor\'s work schedule and checks work for quality and timeliness. Maintain the store\'s space allocations program by such duties as designating to the contractor proper item shelf locations when shelf tags are missing or otherwise not identifiable. Advise commissary or contracted order writers. Act as the commissary manager\'s representative during the night time hours to ensure government property is secure.
