Howmet Niles Operations, a melting, forging and finishing facility located at 1000 Warren Ave., is seeking an Off-Shift Superintendent to join its Operations Department. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the Production and Maintenance activities on a variety of shifts to include first, second, and third. The Superintendent institutes expectations set by the senior leadership team, audits performance, counsels Production Supervisors, trains, acts as a role model, and influences policies and practices to exceed set departmental goals. The Superintendent communicates continually with Operations Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, Process Engineers, and Plant Management.

Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. Preferred Qualifications: Seeking strong verbal and written communication skills. Relevant internship/work/research experience preferred.
