Our Federal Services Group is seeking a Mid/Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team. This role can be located in Kennesaw, GA (HQ), Overland Park, KS, Naperville, IL, Fort Worth, TX, Idaho Falls, ID, or Kennewick, WA. Our team supports our federal clients to solve a wide range of critical engineering problems. Our work covers both nuclear and non-nuclear facilities as well as facility-related infrastructure. Services range from full-scale design of new or replacement facilities to life cycle management to maximize their useful life and availability to assisting with the decommissioning of facilities that have reached the end of their useful life. Responsibilities Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and is able to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines Prepare design studies, project scopes and engineering estimates Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and can evaluate technical bids and select equipment Prepare electrical calculations based on required design inputs Devise new approaches to technical problems Willing to travel and participate in walkdowns, field installation, and start-up Ability to motivate team and achieve goals through positive, winning attitude and effective leadership style which is consistent with ENERCON\'s Defining Excellence fundamentals Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university Minimum 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems including, but not limited to: Preparing engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings and engineering reports Applying electrical engineering expertise to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components Producing procurement specifications and construction specifications (electrical sections) Attending project meetings and perform field walkdowns Mentoring junior engineers Good writing, presentation and communication skills Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams Proficient in Word and Excel Must be a U.S. Citizen #LI-SH7 Salary Range The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
