Job description Anytime Fitness is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to manage facility and equipment repairs across locations in the east Madison to Milwaukee area. The right candidate can travel, has great communication and trouble-shooting skills, is highly organized, self-sufficient, and possesses exceptional facility and mechanical repair skills. Fitness industry experience is a bonus. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and schedules maintenance of the facility and equipment, including cost estimates to report to superiors. Initiates weekly, monthly, and quarterly planned maintenance programs for a variety of facility equipment. Responsible for the preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and plumbing. Manages the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and gym facility. Inspects for broken or malfunctioning equipment. Ensures the working operation of the mechanical, electrical, and exercise equipment. Ensures adequate inventory of maintenance supplies. Conducts frequent walkthroughs of facilities to ensure all equipment is in working order. Oversee deliveries. Assembles any new equipment that the facilities receive on order (Torque racks, etc.) Possesses awareness and knowledge of emergency procedures. Ensures high level of customer service. Personal accountability. Keeps in compliance with and stays up to date with all OSHA regulations. Be available to be on-call after hours should any plumbing, electrical, etc, emergencies arise. Be mechanically inclined and have an in-depth knowledge of tools and how to use them. Familiarize with all systems, safety measures, policies, and procedures that Anytime Fitness puts forth. Dress appropriately in prescribed Anytime Fitness uniforms. Keep all contact with members and guests strictly professional. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess honesty and personal integrity Reliable, professional, mechanically inclined, computer literate, energetic, and friendly Comfortable with being on-call HVAC certification preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position requires daily standing, walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, climbing ladders, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Construction type work may be required from time to time. POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Monday through Friday. On-call hours for emergency maintenance may be required outside of those hours and on weekends. Additionally, during major projects, in an effort to meet deadlines, work may also be expected outside of normal business hours. A Maintenance Technician will spend most time at various club locations as needed. Offsite environments may be appropriate when relating to project or facility work. JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Are Hiring:Clinical Nurse II - PACU - Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital 0.8FTE At Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital we perform procedures including General/vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN and ophthalmology. Our 8 operating rooms, freshly renovated in May 2020, include new system integration for more efficient flow during surgery. As an Orthopedic Center of Excellence we provide an array of orthopedic procedures including same day discharge procedures for total joints. Schedule: The hours of operation at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital PACU department are 0730-1830, Monday - Friday. 8 hour shifts are typically a mix of 3 different times (Generally: 0730-1600, 0800-1630, 1000-1830). Shift start times are adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and daily hours of operation. Call hours during the week are 1830-0730. Weekend and holiday call hours are on a rotation basis. The team shares weeknight, weekend and holiday call shifts equitably. This position will cross train to the day surgery department.
