Job Description
The Manager in Training (MIT) position is expected to be a short-term transitional role that provides both work assignments and training opportunities to prepare MITs to be promoted into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. From the date of entry into the AutoZone MIT program, it may be possible to progress to a management position within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on the prior experience and performance of the MIT.

Description: Selected candidate will serve on, and interact with, a team of Cost Management analysts on Fixed Wing Fire Control (Sniper) program. Day-to-day cost management responsibilities will include establishing and monitoring of program budgets, tracking and reconciliation of costs, conduct cost analysis; risk and opportunity analysis; variance explanations and recommendations for corrective actions as required. Will be responsible for helping coordinate quarterly CSR process and ensuring data within is accurate and complete and reconciles to EFS model. Will be responsible for forecasting orders, sales, profit, and cash flow for assigned contracts. Duties will also include support to Long Range Plan formulation, E&Y inquiries, Tax questions, Progress Billing audits, Contract Closeout.
