  • Functions as a member of the health care team to assist the professional nurse in meeting the goal of individualized patient care by performing designated patient care activities under the direct supervision of the designated Registered Nurse. The incumbent may prepare work schedules, be involved with financial bookkeeping, employee relations and employee training. This position will be required to provide back-up for absences or heavy volume as needed in the office as appropriate depending upon their knowledge and training in the specific area. The incumbent may assist in direct patient care activities, utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty. The incumbent is responsible charge entry, coding, researching and resolving denied claims. Follows up with accounts over 60 days and take necessary action to expedite payment and/or zero account. Performs necessary steps to obtain insurance coverage for self-pay accounts.

  • The RN is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate needs for patients aged newborn through geriatric.
