Functions as a member of the health care team to assist the professional nurse in meeting the goal of individualized patient care by performing designated patient care activities under the direct supervision of the designated Registered Nurse. Demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, with the ability to provide patient centered care, teamwork, collaboration, evidence based practice and effective communication. The LPN, under the direction and supervision of the RN, is responsible for the care of the patient and family needs from neonate through geriatric. The LPN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; addresses health educational needs for patients, families and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; and applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
The Wound Care Nurse Manager is responsible for ongoing management and growth of the program. The Wound Care Nurse Manager oversees day-to-day program operations and is responsible for: revenue, cost management, reimbursement, quality management, performance improvement and marketing and community engagement in conjunction with the hospital Growth and Outreach Director.
The Patient Care Associate (PCA) performs clerical, reception; admission, communication and coordination tasks to facilitate smooth functioning of the patient care area. The PCA also participates in the delivery of patient care.

This position is responsible for over seeing the day to day operations in a physician office or in a specific department of a physician office. The incumbent may prepare work schedules, be involved with financial bookkeeping, employee relations and employee training. This position will be required to provide back-up for absences or heavy volume as needed in the office as appropriate depending upon their knowledge and training in the specific area. The incumbent may assist in direct patient care activities, utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty. The incumbent is responsible charge entry, coding, researching and resolving denied claims. Follows up with accounts over 60 days and take necessary action to expedite payment and/or zero account. Performs necessary steps to obtain insurance coverage for self-pay accounts.
