About the Role & Team
The Manager in Training (MIT) position is expected to be a short-term transitional role that provides both work assignments and training opportunities to prepare MITs to be promoted into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. From the date of entry into the AutoZone MIT program, it may be possible to progress to a management position within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on the prior experience and performance of the MIT.

KeyBank provides the tools and training, but we need relationship builders with a curious nature who are great at sparking conversations. (required) Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports. (required) Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking. (required) Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection, and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful. (preferred) Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging centers of influence, as this role will require significant influence of partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals.
