Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army\'s Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance Responsibilities Perform various duties concerned with preparation and application of paint to achieve desired performance finish on aircraft, airframes, component parts, and related equipment. Prepare surfaces for painting using applicable technical instructions for scuffing and washing substrates prior to application of coatings. Reduce paint to the required viscosity, validate and apply coating to thickness requirements and test for proper adhesion to include dry film thickness.
