Reference #: 85347-361528 GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Prepares shelters, pieces, and parts for paint. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Receives verbal and written instructions. Receives units, washes/rinses, and dries with a cloth. Removes masking from holes and cleans with solvent. Vibrates spot weld marks, scratches, excess sealer, and adhesive. Checks the surface to be painted for dents, hand buffs dents, and fills with J7 body filler. Vibrates filler to achieve a smooth surface. Cuts paper using patterns, covers, and mask areas not to be painted. Tack rags unit to remove lint and dust and moves to the paint booth. Use vibrator in completion of operations. Other Job Functions Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.
