We are seeking three Mine Engineer or Civil Engineer Interns at Minnesota Ore Operations. The Internship affords the opportunity to apply educational experiences to real world engineering principals. This position is a temporary full-time position for the summer of 2025 and will be located at our mine operations in Mountain Iron, MN and Keewatin, MN. At these facilities, iron-bearing rock called taconite is mined and processed into iron ore pellets for use in U. S. Steel\'s steelmaking facilities. This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
