About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Industrial Operations, Theatre Missile Systems Division at Letterkenny Army Depot, in Chambersburg, PA Responsibilities Wire circuit breaker panels, generators or hydraulic power units requiring intricate adjustment. Utilize blueprints, manuals, diagrams, and other instructions for technical work within the organization. Develop, test or finalize reconditioning and testing procedures within the organization. Perform alignment on system with hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic components. Determine nature and scope of repair or replacement requirements to final assembly and of unit. Perform certified soldering in accordance with current military specifications. Operate specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, a variety of meters, controls, hydraulic test set, etc., to perform inspection and/or final tests. Work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are property performed. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.? PHYSICAL EFFORT There is frequent standing, bending, and working in tiring positions, although there is occasional sitting down at test consoles or workbenches.
